Our Mission



Our History
Brudy’s beginnings date back to 1995, when, in collaboration with the US company Omegatech, we introduced Omega 3 fatty acids into food products in Europe, such as eggs, processed meats and industrial bakery products. In 1997, our efforts were recognised with the Most Innovative European Product Award for Omega 3-enriched eggs, achieving annual sales of 60 million euros in Spain, Portugal and France.
From our origins in the food sector, we moved into nutraceuticals by manufacturing the first European DHA-rich oils under the Algatrium® brand. Initially, we used oil from the microalga Schizochytrium, which we later replaced with fish-derived oil. In 2008, we received the prestigious Health Ingredients Award Europe 2008.
With an investment of more than 10 million euros of 100% Spanish capital, we have obtained three worldwide patents for the use of DHA-concentrated triglyceride, an achievement of which we are proud.
At Brudy, we are not satisfied with our DHA-concentrated triglyceride (Tridocosahexanoína-AOX®) simply meeting the most demanding international quality standards for Omega 3. We go further, requiring our DHA to preserve maximum bioactivity. We are the only company worldwide that biologically guarantees this bioactivity through the cellular bioactivity test.

Our Team
Since 1995, the Brudy team has been driven by its passion for research and the development of new products with DHA molecules derived from marine fish and algae oils.
Our team consists of three divisions that work together to produce the highest-quality oil possible and products that are best adapted to each person’s needs. We believe that extracting rich marine lipids is not only a technical process, but also an art.
The art of preserving bioactivity is what sets us apart from everyone else in our field.
Our molecule, Tridocosahexaenoína-AOX®
At Brudy, we use a highly bioavailable form of Omega 3: a triglyceride enriched with 70% DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), obtained from fish.
Thanks to our proprietary enzymatic process, DHA is presented in its natural triglyceride structure, the same form in which it is found in the body and in breast milk. This promotes efficient absorption and optimal integration into cell membranes, effectively contributing to the body’s physiological functions.
